CSHK’s Sustainability Philosophy – “P.E.A.K.”

Having established deep roots in the local community over the years, CSHK has undertaken numerous large-scale infrastructure projects, positioning itself as one of the industry’s leading companies. With the rise of the concept sustainable development, we are keenly aware of its importance to the construction industry. As a leader in the industry, our responsibility extends beyond economic gains to encompass the long-term development of our nation and society, while also embracing our social responsibilities. In addition, we acknowledge the adverse impacts that traditional development models have had on the environment and society. This has been driving us to initiate a low-carbon transformation and leading the industry towards sustainable development. Our goal is to become advocates and practitioners of sustainability, driving positive change for the benefit of the society.

By extensively referencing international, national, local, and industrial perspectives, we have conducted in-depth research on the trends, policies, measures, and goals of sustainability. Building upon our existing sustainable development strategies and the roadmap of our parent company, we introduced a ground-breaking concept in 2022 called “P.E.A.K.”. Guided by a people-centric philosophy, we prioritise the well-being of our employees and workers, while maintaining a strong commitment to our community. Our focus lies in adopting an environmentally friendly and low-carbon construction approach, as we actively engage with academia and collaborate with our supply chain partners. Together, we aim to make significant contributions to the development of key projects in Hong Kong. By doing so, we are dedicated to achieving our goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
