Key Projects for Hong Kong
BEAM Plus involvement
9-Year School in Qianwan 10th Unit
This project is the first integration pilot project between Shenzhen and Hong Kong which leverages Hong Kong’s comprehensive advantages within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Since 2020, CSHK has taken the lead in implementing the “System Integration and Advancement of Shenzhen-Hong Kong Qualification and Registration, Construction Engineering Institutional Reform, and Project Implementation” in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone, Shenzhen.
Construction Engineering Management System Reform in Connection with Hong Kong and Macau Rules
We have made efforts to remove barriers and obstacles in various professional practices. In December 2021, CSHK was awarded the research project on the integration of the Hong Kong and Macau rules into the Qianhai Construction Engineering Management System. We have officially become the chief consultant for the reform of the Qianhai Management Bureau.
Since becoming the chief consultant, we have drawn upon engineering management models from Hong Kong and international practices, focusing on six areas: “planning and design control, engineering supervision, quantity surveying and pricing, tendering and bidding, EPC management, and engineering mediation.” Through appropriate adjustments and optimisation, we have proposed 14 reform measures to facilitate the integration of Hong Kong’s construction industry into the development of Qianhai and promote the internationalisation of the mainland’s construction services sector.
We have achieved:
The first
The first Hong Kong engineering professional institution to complete qualification registration in Qianhai, Shenzhen.
The first
The first batch of Hong Kong and Macau professionals to obtain practicing qualification registration in Qianhai, Shenzhen.
The first
The first Hong Kong professional institution in the construction field to obtain practicing qualification in Qianhai, Shenzhen, and obtained four special-grade qualification registrations.
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park
This project is an innovation and technology research and development hub jointly developed by Hong Kong and Shenzhen, which located in the Lok Ma Chau Loop. The goal of the park is to transform the Lok Ma Chau Loop into an efficient, low-carbon, and pleasant microclimate region. The park’s also focus on the development of intelligent, green, and flexible infrastructure, aiming to create a distinctive and sustainable community.
Project Construction Highlights:
CSHK is committed to low-carbon construction and sustainable development. We actively promote the use of hydrogen-powered generators on project sites. Compared to traditional diesel generators, hydrogen-powered generators can reduce CO2 emissions by 80%-90% and significantly decrease noise and air pollution. This initiative also simplifies the workflow for construction management and equipment maintenance.
To achieve efficient and intelligent control throughout the entire construction process, CSHK has established the C-SMART Smart Command Centre on the construction site. This centre utilises MiC and photovoltaic glass power generation technologies to enable digital management and promote energy conservation and emission reduction. It also facilitates the application of green technology.
COIT
China Overseas Innovation & Technology (Zhuhai) Company (COIT) was established in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province in 2022. COIT focuses on the research, design, and production of MiMEP. COIT provides comprehensive solutions for design, production, transportation, and assembly, aiming to promote industrialisation, digitisation, and green sustainability in the construction industry through innovative technologies.
Representative Project: Shenzhen Baguang International Hotel
Prefabrication of Residential Water Pump Room:
The entire mechanical and electrical installation of the residential water pump room was completed within 22 hours, reducing the traditional construction period of 15 days by nearly 95%.
Prefabrication of Fire Pump Room:
The entire mechanical and electrical installation of the fire pump room was completed within 29 hours, reducing the originally required 15-day traditional construction period by nearly 90%.
Multi-Branch Integrated Pipeline Module:
The installation process takes approximately 15 minutes per set, resulting in an overall efficiency improvement of over 80% compared to traditional assembly methods. It also reduces the need for approximately 200 on-site construction personnel.
